The Department of Psychiatry and Neurological is one of the oldest departments in the Armed Forces Hospitals. The Department provides Psychiatry and Neurological services for patients in the best way .
Following the end of the Second World War, the evacuation of the British Forces from the camps and airports, and the limitation of their presence in Suez region, the Egyptian Forces began to receive the airports and camps and the Egyptian medical services started to bear the burden of providing medical services to the Egyptian branches including The Royal Egyptian Air Forces, which was consisted of a few airports. One of the prominent airports was Almaza Airport, which included the aviation school.
