The Respiratory Department contains the latest lung function labs where it works closely with intensive care unit to provide health care for all severe and chronic respiratory conditions.
Following the end of the Second World War, the evacuation of the British Forces from the camps and airports, and the limitation of their presence in Suez region, the Egyptian Forces began to receive the airports and camps and the Egyptian medical services started to bear the burden of providing medical services to the Egyptian branches including The Royal Egyptian Air Forces, which was consisted of a few airports. One of the prominent airports was Almaza Airport, which included the aviation school.
